Our Favorite Time of the Year

On Saturday, we got up bright and early to beat the large crowds of people sure to arrive at Tanner's Orchard. It wasn't too busy when we got there at 9:15. But, not too much later, their parking lot was FULL!

When we got there, Sophie immediately started talking about "the man in the potty with hairy legs." We had NO IDEA what she was talking about, until we spotted this...

Sophie is actually not smiling, she is grunting!

Natalee is also grunting!! They get it from their father!

The kids fed the goats as usual. To our amazement, the price of goat food went up to $.50 and you didn't get much at all. Each kid fed a few goats. Then, to the playground we went. Priced went up there, too. We couldn't believe our eyes, $7 per child and $5 per adult!! $24 to play on their playground, HIGHWAY ROBBERY! And, of course, we had already promised Natalee and Sophie we were going to do it, so we did. Two hours later, we were ready to head.

I took a few more pictures of the girls.

Willie Wonka

While talking with Sophie, I told her that I had a great idea for Natalee and Sophie's birthday party and Halloween for next year... Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Her response, " OK. But who will be "The Willie?"

She can say the funniest things sometime!

My family

While going through pictures from our vacation to the Ohio River over the summer, I found it. A picture of the MOST IMPORTANT people in my life!

How did I get so lucky?!?!
